21 months old

Owen is 21 months old today! Holy crap, that means it's time to get into party planning mode!

At 21 months, Owen:

* Sleeps from 8pm-7am
* Takes a 2-3 hour nap
* Hasn't made any progress on the picky eating, though we did discover today that he likes Ritz crackers
* Has become more adventurous with climbing playground equipment
* Has had to sit in his naughty chair quite a few times, and seems to understand the concept
* Gives hugs
* Gives kisses
* Loves to watch Wonder Pets, Wow Wow Wubbzy, and Blue's Clues
* Loves to watch his Signing Time videos
* Loves books, but wants to be the one to pick out the book
* Still loves rolling balls down the hallway
* Prefers to have no toys in the bath, so he spends the whole time throwing everything overboard
* Has started doing puzzles
* Can identify and name the following colors - blue, red (he signs red)
* Learned the following animal sounds - frog, monkey
* Learned the following signs - blanket (actually learned last month), happy, sad, cry, blue, white, red, brown, where, sorry, doll, my turn, thirsty, hungry, like, sick (kind of), shirt, blocks (kind of), bed, brush teeth, B, C, D, E
* Learned the following words - pail, belly, Magenta (the Blue's Clues character), puff, girl, cracker, donkey, clock, Pooh, toe, doll
* Can identify and name the following letters - A, B, D, E, G, I, K, O, R
* Says "what's that," "look at that," and "oh, it's a _____" but those are still the only two-word sentences that he knows
* Wears a size 6 shoe
* Wears 18-24mo clothes and 2T shirts
* Wears a size 4 diaper
